FAQ's
Do y’all do transfers? How much are your transfers?
Yes – we do transfers. We have our FFL on file with many distributors and dealers. If we aren’t with them, we are happy to send our FFL to your seller to make a smoother transfer experience.
Can I have a copy of your FFL?
Likely not, but if you need us to send a copy to someone, send your request to ffl@armedconcepts.com and we will send it across as soon as possible to your seller.
How much does it cost to coat … ?
We will always tell you “well, that depends.”. The cost of the project will vary based on your weapon, the number of colors/theme, extra bits and parts, labor, shipping and etc. You can get a ballpark idea by checking out our pricing page. We can give you a much cleaner estimate if you call the shop or stop over to discuss your project. We offer discounts for our LEOs, Service Members, and First Responders.
How long does it take?
It depends on the project. It could be as little as a week to as many as a whole lot of weeks. We will discuss when you submit your project and set a realistic turnaround time. This is custom work so please remember to be patient and reasonable.
Do y’all have a laser?
Yes, and it’s attached to a freaking shark’s head. (Just kidding, but yes, we have a laser and we can do basic work to NFA markings to all the cool sh!t in between.)
Do y’all do slidecuts?
We partner with some of the best in Texas to handle that work. Leave it with us and we make sure it’s done, on time, and back for coating to save you the hassle and expense of running around.

What is Cerakote?
Cerakote is a Polymer-Ceramic Composite coating that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. If I Cerakote, will it scratch or wear off?
Short answer, it can. If you can scratch the substrate, you can scratch the coating. Normal wear and tear is expected similiar to factory coatings. It should never bubble up or peel off.
Do y'all buy guns or do consignments?
Never say never. We will have an honest conversation with you about your bangstick and see if it is something we can work with to sell. Standard answer is generally "no, but let's talk".
